Auto Pièces
The French car recycling company Auto Pièces is optimizing its storage space with the help of OHRA cantilever racks and increasing the number of stored vehicles from 350 to 750 in a short time. The total capacity is now 1,700 spaces. Thanks to the racks, cars can be stacked on top of each other and still be kept directly accessible. Auto Pièces relies on sustainable recycling management, recycles an average of 98 percent of the weight of a used vehicle and has over 120,000 tested used parts in stock. The new racks make handling easier, prevent damage and thus significantly increase the efficiency of vehicle recycling.
Dricosol
The photovoltaic solutions provider DricoSol now stores its components for solar systems in customised pallet racks from OHRA instead of on the floor or in block storage. Each of the five shelves was individually adapted in terms of height, compartment width and compartment depth to meet DricoSol's requirements and the conditions of the three-storey commercial property. The static design also took into account the location of the building in an earthquake zone. The shelving can also be flexibly adapted to new requirements as needed thanks to suspended shelves in a 100-millimetre grid.
Fries
The family-owned company FRIES, one of Germany's leading wholesalers of wood and flooring, has added a customised storage platform from OHRA to an existing hall at its Kiel site. An additional 270 square metres of usable space at a height of 3.8 metres now enables space-saving storage of bulky insulation materials. A new, spacious work area was created under the platform. This enabled FRIES to significantly optimise its logistics and avoid the construction of a new hall – for greater efficiency and sustainable use of existing resources.
